Room 9 at the first documenta shows the interior of the half rotunda in the Fridericanum. Due to the lack of roof architecture, the light reached the inner part of the ground floor. Wilhelm Lehmbruck's sculptures "Kniende" (1911) and among others "Mutter und Kind" (1917/18) could be seen there. Views were given through to room 10, the upper part of the half rotunda is labeled room 25, in which Oskar Schlemmer's work "Fünfzehnergruppe" was displayed. Surprisingly, the exhibition space is equipped with green plants.
